Sync Us or The Stag Company: which suits your group?
The Stag Company is an established package operator, part of the Eventa Group, and a full done-for-you package genuinely suits some groups. If nobody has time to plan, you want one payment relationship and pre-packaged activities, an operator is a fair choice.
Sync Us does a different job. The group plans together, sees every price before anyone pays, and books each supplier direct. Here is the honest difference, so you can pick the right tool for your group.
Who a package operator suits
Groups that want the weekend handled for them, one invoice, activities bundled by someone who has run hundreds of these. You trade control and some transparency for convenience, and for many groups that trade is worth it.
What to read before you commit
Read the booking terms in full before paying a deposit, whoever you book with. As of July 2026 The Stag Company's published terms include a price recalculation clause if group numbers drop, and its group portal opens the full itinerary once payment completes. Know the balance dates, the cancellation window and what happens to the per-head price if someone pulls out, and share those terms with the whole group, not just the organiser.
How Sync Us differs
Sync Us is free and is not an operator. The group votes on what to do, every listing shows its price where one exists, and each person pays the supplier direct. Your money goes to the villa, the boat or the club, never to us. The plan stays visible to every member whatever the payment state, and if someone drops out the group sees the numbers change in the open.
The plan in the open, the money direct
Sync Us shows the whole plan, the per-head cost and who has booked and paid, to every member from day one. It shows the money and never moves it. No deposit sits with us, because we never take one.
