How to get a group to actually agree on a trip
The hardest part of a group trip is getting ten people with ten opinions to land on the same dates, the same place and the same plan. The booking is the easy bit. The agreeing is where weeks disappear.
The trick is to stop asking open questions and start giving the group things to vote on.
Give options, not open questions
Do not ask when everyone is free. Put up two or three date options and let people mark themselves in or out. A closed choice gets an answer, an open question gets silence.
Let the quiet ones vote
In a chat, the loudest few decide and the rest go along with it. A vote gives the quiet people an equal say, so the plan reflects the whole group, not the three who reply fastest.
Make the decision visible
Once something has the most people in, show it clearly so it is settled. A decision nobody can see gets picked apart again a week later. A decision on a shared screen sticks.
